These specialty 316 Stainless Steel Bow Shackles have a Black Titanium Coating for HEIGHTENED corrosion resistance and a superior look to standard Stainless Steel Bow Shackles.

These Exceptional Quality Bow Shackles can fit many aesthetic purposes, especially when accompanied by our other Titanium Coated Accessories accessories.

The preferred grades of stainless steel for industrial use are titled 304 and 316 due to their excellent corrosion resistance, suitable finish, and versatility.

• 304 Grade Stainless Steel: Is the most commonly produced grade of stainless steel. It is general-purpose stainless steel and offers good corrosion resistance.

• 316 Grade Stainless Steel: Also known as "Marine Grade"  as it contains Molybdenum to resist the corrosive effects of NaCI or salt in seawater. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion than 304 Stainless Steel for those projects in coastal locations. Although it is not completely rustproof the alloy is more corrosion resistant than other common stainless steels.
