Shock cord is a great tool for a variety of uses. It can be used to secure items in please, such as tarps, tents and other objects. It can also be used to create a makeshift bungee corder for items that need to secured in place.
It is also great for creating a makeshift rope for climbing or rappelling. Shock cord is also great for creating a makeshift hammock or for creating a makeshift swing. It is also great for creating a makeshift fishing line.
Shock cord is basically a rope that is made of elastic on the inside. The core is made of multiple elastic strands. The 4mm core is surrounded by a polypropylene sheath and the 6mm and 8mm have a polyester material that's really resistant to fraying from frequent use and exposure to weather elements.
