Keder consists of two parts: a core and fabric. The core is made from extruded PVC, or another elastic material, to allow flexibility.
The core is then wrapped in Keder fabric, which has exposed fibers on the outside to allow the Keder to easily slide into an extrusion with a groove – Sail Track.
It has a coating on the inside, to ensure proper adhesion during welding.
Keder is attached to fabric to create a continuous waterproof connection between fabric and frame.

Keder is a heavy-duty coated polyester fabric welded to a cord of solid PVC material, resulting in a very strong, flexible and slippery track welting that slides easily and effortlessly. Keder is in use around the world by makers of tents, fabric structure, truck side signs, industrial curtains, banners, Fiama awnings, pool covers, and various marine products.
