Superior Shade Coverage

For most of the day, there is a  much scattered solar UVR from the sky as there is from the direct sun. 

Monotec 370 series is designed to offer greater protection against UVR and when used in conjunction with other protective measures, such as sun-protective clothing, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen, it is the best way to provide maximum protection against  UV radiation.

Monotec 370 series is vigorously tested for all weather conditions, including UVR. Using a UV index meter, the solar meter 6.5 , approved by the Cancer Council Australia and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA), at different latitudes, times of the day, and seasons.  Monotec 370 series typically delivers a UV index value of 0-2, which places the user in the low index or category, as below. 

The UV index & How Do I Interpret the Readings?

If measurements show that the UV index is below 3, then sun protection measures are usually not required. Any time the UV index show 3 or above, or you are spending more than an hour outside, you should consider the 5 sun protection measures to reduce your UV exposure and reduce your risk of skin cancer.
